GIANLUIGI ANTONACI

Gianluigi Antonaci is a composer, suond designer and performer expert on live electronics and live processing of performers. Born in Zürich, Switzerland, he lives in Italy (Salento - Puglia). His research activities involve sounds works for voices, acustic instruments and digital live processing, sound installations, realtime computer-human interaction-improvisation in music theatre, dance, video-art.
In his projects emerge the sound transformation by using Kyma-Capybara. This powerful sound computation engine is always engaged in his compositional works in the integration of artificial intelligence, compositional process and musical improvisation/performance. For this reason, to encompass this new world of possibilities, the composer researches continuosily a new aesthetic orientation based on complex manipulation and interpolation of sonic events.
He holds courses on computer music and digital sound system, courses on multi/iper-media and creativity.
